Not to be confused with the tank named Ammunition.

Ammunition, such as bullets, drones, and traps, are used by players, AI, sentries, or bosses to deal damage to other entities. Some ammunition is more powerful than others.

Types[]

Bullet[]

For a full list of tanks that use bullets, see Bullet Tanks.

Basic ammunition is used by most tanks and auto-turrets. They consists of a round ball or a particular size that travels at a particular speed. The largest bullets are produced by the Inoculist and Shrapnel branch. The smallest bullets are produced by Migrator-2, Sponge, and similar tanks. Bullets of a small enough size experience a visual glitch where their bodies are not fully filled, leaving only an outline and a small pinprick of body color. Players often refer to these as "foam" or "bubbles" after the Foam Gun branch, but they are simply extremely small bullets.

Ceptioner[]

Ceptioner bullets are bullets with auto turrets on top. They are weaker than the Ceptionist's. Examples include Purge and Tailgator.

Ceptionist[]

Ceptionist bullets are bullet that have a barrel in front of them that fire more bullets. Examples include Twinceptionist and Machceptionist. These bullets are no longer found in-game as the Inceptioner branch has been lost.

Chiller[]

For a full list of tanks that use freezing bullets, see Chiller Tanks.

These bullets are like normal bullets, but reduce the target's movement speed upon impact. Examples include Freezer and Alopecia.

Paralyzer[]

These bullets are like normal bullets, but nearly halt the target's movement speed upon impact. It is only used by the Paralyzer and the boss Lemonicus.

Injection[]

Injection bullets were used by the Injector branch, which used a syringe-like barrel placement to fire either poison injections or EMP/healing injections. These bullets did no damage on their own but were useful in team modes.

Acid[]

For a full list of tanks that use poison, see Acid Tanks.

These bullets are like normal bullets, but do continuous poison damage to the target, long after impact. This damage does not reduce shields, so minor poison effect may be negated by sufficient shield regeneration. Users include Kasane and Coronavirus

Homing[]

For a full list of tanks that use homing bullets, see Homing Tanks.

Homing bullets track the location of a target and turn toward it until they fade. Neon Annihilator, Psychokinesis, Oxyrrhexis, and Fighter-H are just a few of the tanks that use homing bullets. Most of the Heatseeker branch uses this type of ammunition.

Auto-Homing[]

Auto-Homing bullets have an auto-turret on top. Examples include Panzer and Ubercharge.

Swarming Homing[]

Swarming Homing bullets have spawners that produce small swarm drones. Examples include Projectiler.

Laser[]

For a full list of tanks that use lasers, see Laser Tanks.

Lasers (called lines in game) are long rectangular bullets fired by the Laser-branch tanks and the Death Star’s turret. Tanks that use it include Ion-Ray and Lightsaber.

Missile[]

For a full list of tanks that use missiles, see Missile Tanks.

Missile ammunition consists of bullets that fire bullets behind them to boost. Some branches fire traps or blocks instead. Missiles are used as turrets on some tanks and bosses. Launcher and Skimmer are just two of many examples.

Catapult[]

Catapult missiles consist of a primary missile that fires a secondary missile from its front. Inventory fires a three-tiered missile. The Catapult branch is the only branch that uses these bullets, though many of the level 60 tanks do not use it.

Nuke[]

For a full list of tanks that use nukes, see Nuke Tanks.

Nukes are extremely powerful bullets (shaped like a cartoon nuclear bomb) that produce very large bullets upon death. A Crockett Dominator uses the Nuke as its defense.

Bomb[]

Bombs are explosive projectiles that are similar to Nukes. However, they fire a lot of tiny bullets instead of one large, expanding bullet.

Stabilizer[]

This bullet, used only by the Redistributor, Sandman, Acolyte, Rune, AWP-39 Lite, Redistributor-6, Redistception, 360-Redistributor, and Shotgun Closer (And possibly other tanks), is the most powerful bullet in the game besides Arena Closer bullets. It features what appears to be a small, fast, heavily armored bullet. It can kill most Tanks in one hit and severely damage Motherships, Dominators and Bosses.

Trap[]

For a full list of tanks that use traps, see Trap Tanks.

Traps are barbed ammunition that deal damage to a shape or tank depending on the speed and size of the trap. Traps range from the Spiker's nearly invisible and tiny traps to the Tera Trapper's massive trap.

Trapboxes[]

For a full list of tanks that use trapboxes, see Trapbox Tanks.

Trapboxes are special types of traps with small auto turrets on them. They are used by the Arsenal branch.

Block[]

For a full list of tanks that use blocks, see Block Tanks.

Blocks are barbed square traps. However, they go the location of your cursor and can be used at range. In pre-Deletion Woomy, Tri-Builder branch blocks went to the location of your cursor as if it was directly in front of them. This was due to the Hexa-Builder's and Tri-Planter's overpowered strength against any tank. These tanks currently follow the same mechanics as all other block tanks do, rendering them difficult to defeat at times. Some blocks can have spawners, auto-turrets, and other barrels on top of them.

Pillboxes[]

For a full list of tanks that use Pillbox, see Pillbox Tanks.

Pillboxes are special type of blocks used by the Engineer branch. These blocks are very similar to regular blocks, but they also have auto turrets on top.

Boomerang[]

For a full list of tanks that use boomerangs, see Boomerang Tanks.

Boomerang act similarly to blocks but also come back to the player, similar to boomerangs in real life. Boomerangs are used primarily by the Boomer branch.

Portals[]

For a full list of tanks that use portals, see Taurus Tanks.

Portals were stationary bullets fired by the Taurus branch. The portals were spawned at the player's cursor, unlike normal bullets. They dealt no damage by themselves. They are a unique shape that resembles a rounded square, but they are constantly animated and morph as long as they exist.

Drone[]

For a full list of tanks that use drones, see Drone Tanks.

Drones are ammunition that can be controlled by the player with left click or auto-fire. They can be repelled at any time with right click. Drones range in size from the tiny Cruiseception auto-turret drones to the gigantic Overload and largest Inoculist drones. Hive drones are a distinct type of drones, and are produced by the Mini Swarmer Branch and Beehive branch. Drive drones are special drones equipped with turrets.

Minions[]

For a full list of tanks that use minions, see Minion Tanks.

Minions are special drones that resemble miniature tanks. They orbit around the target instead of ramming into the target. Tanks that use minions include the Factory, Bent Spawner, and the Reaperdrive.

Probes[]

For a full list of tanks that use probes, see Hivemind Tanks.

Probes are special minions that are used by the Hivemind class. They have a health bar, and are the same size as the tank. Examples include the Megamind, the Ninja (this tank's probes do not have a health bar), and the Trapmind. They are spawned right out of the tank, unlike regular minions, which spawns out of spawners.

Infecting drone[]

For a full list of tanks that use infecting drones, see Sunchip Tanks.

Referred to as Sunchips (most Underseer tanks), Tortillas (Pentamancer), Cheeseballs (Eggmancer, EQ-0), or Doritos (Trimancer), these drones can infect matching shapes up to the drone limit.

Melee[]

Lance[]

For a full list of tanks that uses lances, see Lance Tanks.

Lancers appear to not use bullets (except some variants) and rather deal damage with a lance, which are really just invisible guns that shoot rapidly bullets that despawn almost instantly. Lancers tend to be very fast and are regularly nerfed.

Flail[]

Flails are special types of "lances" shaped like a miniature Smasher attached to a long chain. These tanks are generally slower than lancer tanks. Examples include the Icicle and the Mace.

Smasher[]

For a full list of smashers, see Smasher Tanks.

Smashers are a branch of melee tanks that focuses on strength and speed. These tanks are designed to ram, and deal damage only through body damage, except for the Auto-Smasher branch. Example tanks include the Spike and Minesweeper.

Others[]

Regionals[]

Regionals are parts of a tank that upon right-clicking, will be launched out, dealing damage. They can continue to shoot bullets if they have a barrel even after being fired. Tanks include the Kashmir, the Kivaaritehdas and the Meijijingu

EMP[]

These are long, rectangular bullets. They also have a "cloud" surrounding it, like a cloud of electicity. On impact, they stun a target for some time, hugely reducing move speed and disabling firing. It is used by only the Surge, Solar Eclipse, Black Guardian and Confidential, but the new EQ-4 uses it too.
