The Builder is a Tier 3 tank upgrading from Trapper and Pounder at level 30.

The Builder has a circular body and a rectangular, Pounder-like barrel with a very short trapezoidal tip tapering outwards.

The Builder fires durable blocks that move towards the position of the cursor (when it is fired), where they stay. The blocks can also move around obstacles such rocks to get to their destination. They are more durable and deal more damage than the Trapper's traps and are much more consistent in terms of velocity.

It also has slightly more FoV than its predecessors.

As the Builder

Aim your blocks towards where your foes will be when the blocks land. Due to their consistent behavior when launched, they are fairly easy to aim. While they are slower than bullets, blocks are a considerable threat to your foes, as a single block can kill an unwary glass cannon, yet you have more reload than the Destroyer branch.

A simple but cheap way to kill some bosses is to lure them next to a rock and go to the opposite side of that rock and attack. Your will still hit the boss, but they (depending on their weapons) can't hit you.

Against the Builder

  • Bullet spammers can tear through a builder's blocks.
  • Sniping tanks can kill an unwary builder from beyond its FoV
  • A builder's blocks are not damaging enough to one- or two-shot rammers, so a smasher branch tank should be able to make it towards a builder and then kill it.
  • Beware of Builder A.I.s. These builders are extremely strong in aim and will have high dps and speed. just seirously donut deal with the builder ai
