The Flankception is a tier 4 tank that upgrades from Auto-Flank, and Basiception at level 45.

Design

The Flankception looks like the Flank Guard, but it has an auto-turret that looks just like it. The turret's barrels have the same proportions as the Basiception's turret's barrel, with them just barely extending to the edge of the tank body but not going over. Like the Flank Guard it's based on, the turret's barrels are all identical.

Technical

The Flankception functions just like the Flank Guard, just with an Auto Turret that functions like, well, an auto turret. It attempts to lead its shots and fires all its barrels at once when it detects an enemy. Like most turrets, its view range exceeds your own FoV so it can fire at enemies you haven't seen yet.

Strategy

As the Flankception

• You are kind of good at clearing out shapes. Not particularly good; there are other options at the same tier that can do much better, but probably better at shape farming than in one-on-one combat.
• Your auto-turret can prevent many tanks from sneaking up on you and killing you without notice.
• Even if your auto turret can't do it, you can still C+E. While doing this, your autoturret can provide a little bit of focused fire.

Against the Flankception

• The tank can be fought pretty much identically to the Basiception since all of its added barrels point away from targets.
• You can't necessarily ram this tank as the auto turret may kill you before you can kill the tank.
• Thus, it's best to outpenetrate it with a focused-fire tank with a high ROF, like the Machlet.

Trivia

• The  Warhorse is the only Flankception branch that isn't a -ception tank like itself.
