The Hybranger is a Tier 5 tank that branches from Hybrid and Ranger at Level 60.

Design

The Hybrid form is the same design as Hybrid but with a blue square on it's destroyer barrel. It's Ranger form has the same design as the ranger but has a red square on its barrel.

When transforming, its ranger base/hybrid barrel swings 180 degrees around the tank to form the appropriate part. While doing so, its primary barrel changes its size to match the tank it is transforming into.

Strategy

As the Hybranger

• You can change to it's ranger form for long range sniping and switch to the hybrid if the enemy gets to close
• Or you can get a glass build and snipe them from a distance and change to a hybrid, using it's recoil to boost away.
• You can entirely forego reload if you master switching at the right time, since switching forms resets your reload. This technique is most useful when using your Hybrid form as your primary attack, but comes at the downside of not letting you have any drones.

Against the Hybranger

• Not the best against drone tanks. Or Chiller tanks either.
• There is a slight delay when transforming. You are vulnerable to high DPS tanks at this moment.
• If you can force it to switch off of its Hybrid form, it will lose its drones.

Trivia

• This tank was suggested by Knightmare and was added on May 14th, 2020 (released publicly on May 18th).
• The tank's name is simply a portmanteau of its two forms: Hybrid and Ranger.
• The Extender's Ranger form looks exactly like Hybranger's Ranger form.
• Interestingly, its animation does not simply reverse when switching back to the original form. During one full "cycle", its ranger base/hybrid barrel swings all the way around the tank instead of only 180 degrees.
