The Man O' War is a tier 4 tank branching from Steamboat and Flank Pounder at level 45.

Design[]

The Man O' War has 2 side cannons similar to the Pounder. It has 2 back cannons similar to the Propeller. Notably, it lacks a front cannon, as do all of its branches.

Technical[]

The Man O' War's cannons have average stats for what they are.

Strategy[]

As the Man O' War[]

  • You have no frontal defense, but you have decent side defense, so try a build that is a smooth balance between ramming and firing.
  • The low fire rate of the Pounder broadside guns makes it a bit hard to actually attack people.
  • Its lack of front cannon means it is expected to ram or use its broadside guns to attack.

Against the Man O' War[]

  • Aiming straight at it is your best winning chance. Be wary that it has thrusters, so it can dodge.
    • However its thrusters are only those of a Propeller, so it is not particularly adept at this. It should be a relatively easy kill.

History[]

The Man O' War was added on 12/28/2018 as an idea by Fillygroove. Strangely, it was originally described as "A Steamboat with larger side barrels", which means it has better side barrel but worse speed compared to Fighter.

Trivia[]

  • This tank was originally by Dingbat1991 but with a slightly different design.
  • This is one of very few tanks that uses an apostrophe in its name, the other ones being  Half N' Half and  'Pewterbrid.
