The Mothership is a Tier 5 Tank upgrading from the Stovepipe, the Master, the Overlord and the Hurricane at level 60.

Design

The Mothership has a hexadecagonal (16 sided) body, and not a circle one as it could look like. There is one small spawner on each side of the tank.

Technical

The Mothership will shoot swarms clockwise, 25 being controllable with E or left click, but 15 will be automatic no matter what you do. The Mothership has good reload but the swarms inflicts very low damage. Finally, the Mothership has a kinda normal speed.

Strategy

As the Mothership

• As there are some drones that always stay around you, use them like shields while you attack the opponents with the controllable ones.
• Your swarms are useless alone. It is obvious you then have to use all the swarms at once. But do not approach the tanks. As the swarms are alone and weak when they're spawning, and the AI drones are already chasing something, you'll litteraly be finger food for any tank approching, especially Smasher or Lancer classes
• With a normal speed and weak drones, You'll have to remain distant from all Pounder class tanks. As their bullets have a nice penetration and damage, the drones will be useless. Remain distant and outflank the tank.

Against the Mothership

• Use a pounder class with a flank cannon (thinking something like the Scratcher or the Poundbrid) so the Mothership will not be able to outflank you. Even if the drones are weak, thy respawn at a high rate and are very fast, so still be careful about them but trying to dodge them will be useless efforts.
• Approaching a Mothership with a Smasher class is an instant win. As a Trailblazer class, you also have a huge chance of success.

Trivia

• The Mothership was in the first versions of Diep.io, but was only playable by two persons, one Mothership per team.
• The Mothership is one of the few tanks who's name is actually in two words without a dash (Mother/ship).
• The Mothership is one of the oldest tanks in Woomy since it originated in Diep.io, albeit not as a "regular" playable tank. There were only one per team and they only existed in their own dedicated.
