The Tri-Lancer is a Tier 3 tank that upgrades from the Lancer and the Flank Guard at level 30.
Design[]
The Tri-Lancer has a circular body with three lances distributed evenly around its body.
Technical[]
Like the Lancer, the Tri-Lancer wields lances that deal heavy damage at close range and can also be used to block bullets and other projectiles.
As its name implies, the Tri-Lancer has two lances on its rear as well.
Upgrades[]
The Tri-Lancer upgrades from the Lancer and the Flank Guard at level 30.
The Tri-Lancer can upgrade to the following:
- Hexa Lancer (Lv. 45)
- Slasher (Lv. 45)
Strategy[]
As the Tri-Lancer[]
- Like other melee tanks, the Tri-Lancer benefits from upgrading movement speed to make up for its short range.
- Tanks with weak bullets are very vulnerable to the Tri-Lancer, as your lance will block all of their bullets.
- In a similar vein, avoid tanks like the Pounder, Sniper, and drone tanks, as their bullets are more durable and can get past your lance.
- (Only attempt this if you are a really good mouser) Use your cursor to spin around at high speed. Using a 0/0/0/9/9/9/7/8 build, you will be able to defend yourself against swarming enemies like the Apidae for a short while. Hold out until an ally sees you in trouble.
Against the Tri-Lancer[]
- The Tri-Lancer cannot do anything to enemies at long range until it gets into melee range.
- Homing bullets or swarms are effective against the Tri-Lancer, as they can bypass its lances.
- Minion tanks or Hivemind tanks can also surround the Tri-Lancer.
- If they are spinning rapidly, retreat. The battle will last dangerously long, allowing someone else to stand up against you. It will also nullify pretty much everything mentioned.
History[]
The Tri-Lancer was added to the game on January 20, 2019.
